Kick butt car with an I don't care attitude driver, whats not to like. Fast paced, no stops all out action. The inspiration for me to watch this was Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof and was worth every second.

I watched the movie with both my daughters, one of which read the book also. It was a good film, especially those of a teenager, young adult age. The title gives it away but the journey to get to that point is worthwhile.

A solid performance from Paul Walker and definitely a gut wrenching movie for anyone who went through or knew someone who survived Hurricane Katrina. The whole film is a" what would you do" situation and shows one person's determination and love for another.

Another great movie adaptation of a classic cartoon and story. The CGI was great. The storyline, even with the few changes it had, was fantastic. The pace was good. The film made those of us who grew up watching the cartoon definitely reminisce and yet opened doora for a younger viewing audience.

Another hilarious performance by Melissa McCarthy. If you're a fan, then this is a don't miss. The usual antics that are funny, but yet with her wit and style to them, definitely puts it in a funnier mode.

The movie was great. Definitley left you wanting more and ready for the next one. You get the feel for the classic "body snatcher" type movie, but they involve twists and turns, keeping it updated and fresh.
JOY is the wild story of a family across four generations centered on the girl who becomes the woman who founds a business dynasty and becomes a matriarch in her own right. Betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence and the scars of love, pave the road in this intense emotional and human comedy about becoming a true boss of family and enterprise facing a world of unforgiving commerce. Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy's inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces. Jennifer Lawrence stars, with Robert de Niro, Bradley Cooper, Edgar Ramirez, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd, and Virginia Madsen. Like David O. Russell's previous films, Joy defies genre to tell a story of family, loyalty, and love.

A must see for any Prince fan. An inside look at his rise to fame which served him well for an entire career. Brings back great songs, great memories for older fans of where you were when this came out. A great work of art; movie and music.
From the Academy Award winning team that brought you Ed Woods, Big Eyes focuses on the artistic coupling of Margaret (Amy Adams) and Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz). Walter Keane became a worldwide celebrity and talk show fixture in the 1950s after he pioneered the mass production of prints of big-eyed kids, and used his marketing savvy to sell them cheaply in hardware stores and gas stations across the country. Unfortunately, he claimed to be the artist. That role was played by Margaret, his shy wife. She generated the paintings from their basement and Walter's contribution was adding his signature to the bottom. The ruse broke up their marriage and led to a divorce and a dramatic courtroom battle to prove authorship of the paintings.

A good movie. Especially for any Tim Burton fan. It's a great ride from a genius mind that's unlike his usual stuff, but yet still has that "feel." Christoph Waltz and Amy Adams are great together even when the characters they play aren't.

This movie is full of so much: great cast, love story, visuals. It takes you to a time forgotten but often thought about. It explores not only American culture in that era, but Irish as well. The film gives you laughs and cries. An emotional and time era journey.
