Pricey but worth it

The title says it all. I was worried that they would fall out but that hasn’t happen once yet. They only last a couple hours on a charge but charge back up in just a few minutes once you put them back in the case. If I had the opportunity to do it over I would purchase them again knowing what I know now.

It's not a must have item but what it does it does well. If you can afford to splurge it's nice. Wonderful to get notifications without picking my phone up or getting it out of my pocket when on the go. Wish you could play music directly from it's speaker even at a low level.

Good speed, range, and easy setup

Bought this on a whim to see just how well it would work based upon reviews. Already had an Apple Airport express wireless router hooked to my cable modem and another one about 75 feet away to relay the signal. Also have Zyxel power line adapters spread throughout the house.
I had just signed up for faster internet thru Cox and wanted to increase wireless speeds. Decided to try this versus the 2 router setup. Works great. We now get 2-3 bars on the 5GHZ band in the 2 farthest bedrooms. With just one airport express, the signal wouldn't travel that far. With 2 airport express it would reach those bedrooms but the speed would be cut way down. With 2-3 bars reception in the 2 furthest bedroom now with just the AirPort Extreme, we get 75-90 Mbps speed on a 150 Mbps cable internet connection. With the 2 router setup I was getting 15-25 Mbps.
We have 15 internet devices in our home ranging from iMac, 2 iPads, 2 iPad minis, 4 iPhones, MacBook Air, TiVo, wireless printer, and 3 Apple TVs that are all hooked to the AirPort Extreme that are humming along nicely on the 5Ghz band. TiVo and printer are on 2.4 MHz band since the don't need the higher speeds.
I would recommend plus the setup took about 5 minutes on my MacBook Air.

Great so far

The only bad thing that my wife has to say about it so far is that it is tall and hard to get all of the clothes out of the bottom since she is 5'6". She purchased a small stool to assist with that issue. Can wash large loads which used to take 2-3 loads with the old washer. Seems to get clothes clean and fresh smelling. Our old LG front loader had the typical problem that most front loaders have regarding moldy sour smelling clothes if you didn't immediately remove them when the cycle was over. So far so good. Bought the 5 year protection plan just in case we have issues. Had to get a larger dryer just to handle the larger loads that she can do now. No problems with clothes being tangled or wadded up like some people have complained about with other aggitaterless HE top loaders. Have reduced the number of loads for our family of 6 in half. Can easily wash a queen size comforter. Happy wife thus far.

Now the only slowdown is based upon the speed of my isp and not the bottleneck at the modem. Had a motorola surfboard modem before and with 10 devices, ipod,ipad, imac, macbook pro, roku, appletv, iphone, tivo, and kindle fire, the surfboard was the weak link. Now with the multiple downstreams that this provides things are much smoother. One 5 minute call with Cox Communications to register it in their system was all it took.
What's great about it: Nice thoroughput
What's not so great: Bright lights
