Great device for GPS to sit on dashboard

My last GPS was one that affixed to my windshield with a small round suction cup. Sometimes the suction cup would fall and the GPS would go with it. Not good trying to pick up both while driving and re-set the thing. I purchased the friction mount for my dashboard and the GPS now sits in it and doesn't move. Nothing anymore on my windshield that can drop, and the friction mount doesn't block my view out of the front window, but if it did, it could be easily moved to another spot without having to undo a suction cup and re-suction it back on the windshield. Very happy with purchase.

Fabulous large screen GPS

After using my new Garmin GPS I am extremely please with it. The large 6" screen is easy to view since I do not want to look at something on a small screen like a cell phone due to the fact that I'm usually driving and don't want to take my eyes off the road. I was on a side street with a ton of huge potholes filled with water and decided not to take a chance to go thru them. When I backed up to turn around, the GPS told me that I was going the wrong way down a one-way street, which I was, but only for a short time until I could pull into a business parking lot to get out of the street area. Didn't know it was that detailed that it could tell that it was a one way . . . very happy with purchase.
