It pains me that I'm too far from a cheesecake factory to really make this a feasible gift most of the time, but for the serious dessert fan, a bit of a drive isn't really an obstacle. The menu is huge if you haven't been, so take your time and eat everything.

Everybody needs power. I've got three strips like this sucking power in the corner where my TV and related gear are, and every single outlet is taken. It's like a nightmare of cables. It could probably kill someone with OCD... that said, at least there are enough outlets to plug into with this guy. The spacing is just right, the safety features are nice, and the power saving stuff is useful if you're into that, but it doesn't really work for my setup. Great choice though.

Nothing in cell phones is 100% guaranteed, but of the options for screen protection out there, the glass has the best look and feel of any product out there. It's the easiest to install and you'll forget it's there! Gotta love that lifetime warranty too - if it does chip or crack, let Zagg know and they'll send you a new one (pay for shipping).

Any 10" screen device should fit great in here, and the zippered pocket in the front is great for keeping a charger on hand (although it does add some bulk). I like the design and the padding serves as great protection, although probably not enough for long drops!

Great guts, wrong OS

I love everything this computer wants to be. It has all the guts to be a beast - even more so than its newer/older brother, the Yoga Pro 3. However, in practice, Windows 8 destroyed the experience for me. As a disclaimer, I'm an Apple fanboy. I trusted that the powerful i7 processor with 8 GB of RAM and the sweet solid state drive and a gorgeous high resolution touchscreen would drive like a Ferrari on this PC. And it does! But with Windows, it's like a 16 year old driving a Ferrari during rush hour traffic down a crowded city street. 90% chance you don't know what you're doing and it's way too hard to get where you're trying to go. I wonder how Windows 10 will feel on it... Either way, I'll stick with my Macbook Pro!
