Based on a series of science fiction novels, The Expanse is set a few hundred years in the future when humanity has colonized a large chunk of the solar system. Follow Joe Miller (Thomas Jane), a police detective born and raised in the asteroid belt, as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of corporate heiress Julie Andromeda Mao and the implications that has for the tenuous peace between Earth, now controlled by the United Nations, and a militaristic colony of humans who have settled on Mars. Also trying to uncover the mystery of Julie's disappearance are Jim Holden (Steven Strait) and the crew of an ice hauling ship which finds itself caught up in the political intrigue involving Earth, Mars and the Belt. This 3-disc set collects all 10 episodes from the first season of the Syfy series.

A decent movie, but basically a retelling (from a different point of view) of the original Star Wars movie. Like the original, Han Solo and Chewbacca are the reasons to see the movie. Like the original - the main jedi (Luke in the first - Rey in this one) is one of the worse actors ever to star in a film.

I had every Avantasia CD. The first two Metal Operas were average. Scarecrow was a very good CD with one of Avantasia's best songs: Lost in Space. Wicked Symphony and Angel of Babylon were fantastic and those two CDs made me believe Avantasia was going to grow into a super band. But than came Mystery of Time which was terrible. Ghostlights, the newest CD, is a notch better than Mystery of Time, but it is not in the ballpark with Wicked Symphony or Angel of Babylon. A minor disappointment.
