Great acting and storytelling

I enjoy historical movies. Nice to see old New York and to see some of the era of nativism that was a large part of our history. The actors did a great job and loved the fight scenes too.

Great even while knowing the entire story

The story is something that is known due to the news coverage of the event from the actual moments it took place. Seeing it on the screen was great and the actors and direction made the story a nail biter. Loved the movie and thought at first it would just be mediocre and it was utterly awesome.

Great album, but to me not my favorite

I have listened to Switchfoot since high school and after picking up their first album I have gotten every album since upon release. I did get to see them in concert a few years back and I will never forget that. So in other words I have some high standards for a band I consider to be an all time personal favorite. This new album was great, but I still like Oh, Gravity! more. That is not to say that this is a bad album in any way. The music was great, the lyrics were great, and I have already listened to the album all the way through on a few occasions. Soon I will be singing every line like I do with all the rest of their work. They have not lost their touch.

I missed this season when it was on air and read some negative reviews about it. When I did get to watch it I was hooked like normal for any Dexter season and thought it was pretty awesome. Crazy staged bodies with messages and all kinds of strange stuff. Loved Colin Hanks' 'dark passenger' story to make it even more crazy. If I had to complain it would be that Colin Hanks is not the best person to be a scary killer. He still did a find job and this season got real good in the last seconds, enough said.

What's great about it: Crazy death scenes and a crazy killer make for fun.
What's not so great: Colin Hanks is okay, but he is hard to take seriously or be scared of.

Hard to follow the Trinity Killer story.

Always love Dexter and the show is great. I guess I was somewhat hoping this season would have had more Dexter conflict due to Rita's death from season 4. She almost made him 'human' and he is okay due to a new project/woman. The story was still better than most things on tv and I could not get away from repeat viewings.

What's not so great: It is somewhat of a weaker story following an intense season 4.
