Good story, great acting!

This story moves slowly, but Tom Hardy keeps you interested as you are constantly kept wondering what he's really thinking and planning.
Bob (Tom Hardy) is a simple guy who works as a bartender. He falls for a local girl after finding her dog in a trash can and nursing the dog back to health. The girl's old boyfriend turns out to be a pretty tough guy who had beaten the dog and thrown it away. He wants the dog and his girl back.
Meanwhile, the mob is coming down hard on the bar owner (James Gandolfini). As things come to a head with the ex-boyfriend and the mob, what's Bob gonna do? Will he find a peaceful way to deal with the situation or is there more to him than the simple, quiet man he seems to be?

A Classic for the Kids and Family!

(1992) "Bad News Bears" meets hockey! Classic story of a bunch of kids who don't know the first thing about how to play hockey. This is unfortunate, because they happen to be on the the Distict 5 team in their city.
Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) is a young, hot-shot attorney who gets arrested for DUI, is suspended from work and sentenced to coach the District 5 team as a form of community service. He doesn't like kids and doesn't want to be there, so his relationship with the team gets off to a pretty rocky start.
As Gordon gets to know the kids, he realizes he needs an attitude adjustment and starts to teach the kids how to play together as a team and have fun!
A nice story with some good laughs along the way. Enjoy!

Wow! ALIEN will have you on the edge of your seat as the movie progresses! Then, ALIENS is one of the few sequels to improve upon the original, especially the expanded version which is included in this set! Sigourney Weaver is great in this role! Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are more of the same fun, but the first two films are my favorite! This is definitely a set worth owning!

This is a great story! Each year, a college professor posts an impossible math equation on the board outside his classroom. No one has ever solved the problem, not even the professor. One day, the professor arrives in the morning and the answer has been posted on the board. The professor is amazed, but none of his students will stand up and take credit for finding the answer. After posting a new problem on the board, the professor comes in late one night to do some work and discovers, to his astonishment, that the night custodian is the one who's been solving his intricate equations. Matt Damon stars as the secret genious who needs help getting his life together. Robin Williams is the therapist who is hired to help. Mini Driver plays the girlfriend and Ben Affleck is Matt's best friend.
This movie launched the careers of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck who co-wrote and co-starred in it, winning countless awards. My only mark against the film is that the adult language is a little thick in some scenes, but it is a very good story. Enjoy!

Die Hard is the standard that all action films strive to live up to. In fact, so many have copied all or some of the storyline, but none can live up to this classic! Die Hard 2 gets a little too cheesy, but the series rebounds nicely with Die Hard 3. This is a blu-ray set that's definitely worth owning and Best Buy offers it at a good price! Enjoy!

An epic film about the disappearing West! Set during the Civil War, this picture captures the story of Leutenant Dunbar, who volunteers to be posted at the Union's furthermost western post, in the middle of nowhere, because he "wants to see the Western Frontier before it disappears." Cut off from any Union help, and forced to fend for himself, Dunbar befriends the Native American tribe in the area. He helps them hunt for buffalo, defends the camp when it is attacked by another tribe, and falls in love. As the years progress, the Union army finally expands into the area and Dunbar (named "Dances with Wolves" by his Native American friends) is forced to choose between his loyalty to the Union (who's plan is to move the Indians out of the area by force, or kill them if they won't go) and his loyalty to the tribe who has become his family.
This movie is so good that it derailed Kevin Coster's career for some time. After directing and starring in this picture and winning just about every Academy Award that year, fans expected greatness in every picture he did afterwards. But none could measure up to this one. If you've never seen "Dances with Wolves" or don't own it, the blu-ray is currently in the $5.99 bin at Best Buy. Buy it, watch it, enjoy!

BIG is a classic that should be on everyone's shelf! A boy who can't wait to grow up, makes a wish to be "BIG". When the wish comes true and he wakes up a completely full-grown adult, he is forced to deal with the complications of being an adult. Maybe childhood wasn't so bad afterall, huh?
