Unacceptable interference

Tried using these for TV listening in an apartment so as not to disturb the neighbors at night with the TV up too loud. Although they were easy to use and the sound quality seemed good, something in the apartment was causing terrible RF interference with these headphones. No matter how I hooked it up or where I plugged it in, I could not get rid of the noise. Returned these and bought the Insignia 2.4 GHz model instead and now no interference.

Easy to use, great for TV listening

I first tried the more expensive 900 MHz Sony wireless headphones. These had terrible RF interference from something in the apartment they were being used in. Tried everything I could to eliminate the interference with no success. So I decided to try these since they are 2.4 GHz and they worked perfect! No interference, easy to set up and use, good sound quality, and nice charging base.

With a Serial ATA interface, this WD Blue WD10EZEXSP internal hard drive easily connects to your PC or Mac. The 1TB capacity offers ample space to house important files, such as pictures, videos and music.

Does the 3 channels option allow me to setup a tv and ipad
How would I go about setting up the earphones so that I could use the headphones with either the tv and iPad by simply changing the channels? Is there any additional equipment needed to do this?
The channel switch is only for changing the transmitting frequency between the base and the headphones. It is not for switching sources. You would need some kind of external switch on the input to accomplish that, or just connect it to whatever source you want to use each time.

Of course! They can be used for whatever source you have them connected to.

Yes, they can be used on any item with a line level audio output jack or headphone out jack.

Do the batteries need to be changed every 25 hours? What would be the cost for this?
Changed? NO. "Charged", YES they are built in rechargeable batteries, they get recharged every time you sit them on the base station.

Is there a way to connect the system to earbuds?
our elderly user finds the ear phones too heavy. Earbuds would solve the problem. She is hard of hearing and these work great except for the weight.
No, there is no audio output jack on the headphones to connect to earbuds. I would try looking into a Bluetooth setup if you want something lighter.

can I upgrade a 2007 e-machine with a terrabyte hard drive?
Yes. You can either install the hard drive as a slave to add more space or you can replace the existing hard drive by copying the original drive to the new drive. The new drive will probably come with a utility disc and instructions on how to do this. There are plenty of downloadable freeware programs to do this as well.
