This is working just fine now, but there was a bad plastic taste for the first 5 loads of ice or so. I did some research and this appears to be normal. i just dumped that ice and things are just fine now.

This dryer is just as quiet as it's partner washer. Sometimes I need to really tug at the lint trap but it's manageable. The trick is to make sure the swiveling flap clicks shut when it's put back.

I'm delighted by this. It's so quiet when it runs. I usually keep my laundry door open as i'm in and out of there and this machine is nice and quiet. If the door is closed, I can't hear anything.
Since it's Hight Efficiency, it requires specific detergent. I thought that would be a hassle, but the HE detergent is about the same cost as regular stuff and I'm going through it slowly so I don't see it being a problematic expense.
The end-of-cycle sound seems to go on for ever and sounds a little silly, but I can live with it. :)
