If you are looking for a very portable, easy to carry laptop and a smaller screen size is okay with you. This is the machine to get. For the purpose of going where i go and ease of carry was more important than screen real estate, for me. I choose this machine and I love it. It also looks very sharp and classy. As for it being a good fast computer, it delivers. You will be happy.

This is a very good, lower high end laptop. Computer runs very well. I had no issues while setting it up or since using it now for about 3 weeks, daily. I had concerns about the slowness including the boot up. I deleted most of the "Bloatware" and anything I didn't feel I wanted. I also turned off many of the boot up processes ( the the high usage ones for sure ). That made a big difference in the expected boot up and performance speed. I am happy with it now.

Nice Laptop/Tablet but....

Overall it is a nice laptop. Great speed, portability and versatility. BUT the screen resolution too good for it's own good. Some programs are not designed for the super high resolution and thus displays very small (unreadable). Really inconvenient.
It's a nice Laptop/Tablet (although I haven't really used it as a tablet yet). But I would not buy again with that screen resolution. Maybe for others that would not be an issue for them, and might be beneficial depending and what they do and how they will use their Yoga 2 Pro.

Make sure you always have batteries on hand to power your keyboard, mouse or other device with this battery charger and 6 rechargeable AA NiMH batteries. The wall outlet charger design lets you charge 2 batteries simultaneously for convenient use.

These batteries hold their charge for a long time and through many re-charges so far. Convenient to have spare set charged and then swap out when I need to replace in my keyboard, magic mouse and track pad. Definitely saves money in the long run and as I said very convenient have spare set ready to go and just swap out.
