He's back

Great movie, but the venom creation story and short screen time leaves you wanting more. This is one of Spiderman's greatest foes and should have had a bigger role. The resolution and sound on the blu-ray technology makes the movie even more amazing.
What's great about it: Lots of action and the blu-ray version is amazing
What's not so great: Wish the venom tale was more inline with the original

This performance video featuring comedian Dave Chappelle gets a bare-bones presentation on DVD. Dave Chappelle: Killing Them Softly has been given a full-frame transfer to disc, while the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. No bonus material or alternate language options have been included.

Another Dave classic

This is one of Dave's older standup shows and it's still funny to this day. If you're into Dave or comedy period, you have to add this one to your collection.
What's great about it: Side splittingly funny
What's not so great: none

Rejection has never been so funny

I expected this one to be funny, but not as funny as it turned out to be. I found myself laughing almost the entire time. It even puts a positive spin on how the term "rejection" can be viewed in another light. Great movie
What's great about it: Very funny movie

Surprisingly funny

Didn't think the second one would be funnier than the first, but to my surprise this one was as funny if not more so than the first. My wife and I were laughing from beginning to end. In the midst of all the laughter, Morgan drops some real spiritual knowledge that leaves you thinking. If you don't have it already, you have to get this movie.
What's great about it: Extremely funny movie with an embedded message
What's not so great: none

A bit of a slow starter, but once it gets going you find yourself laughing the rest of the way while getting wrapped up in the couple's issues. Gotta get this one

Good movie

This is a must have if you're going to get involved in the world of Saw. Everything starts here from the prison style torture to the famous "foot" scene. Just not a big Danny Glover fan and felt he kinda dragged this one down a bit. Still is a good movie though.
What's great about it: Lots of horror and suspense
What's not so great: Danny could have been better

I was expecting more from this cast, but was disappointed. The movie basically repeats the same process over and over again until he finally gets caught, but by then the movie has dragged on for so long that you never really feel a climax. Instead, you just know that this is suppose to be a big moment. I know they were trying to send a message with this one, but it was poorly delivered.
What's great about it: The idea of the plot was ok
What's not so great: The movie never really has a climax and drags on

Even more blood and gore than the first
on November 26, 2007

The puzzles are bigger and the penalities are more gruesome. The group of people in this house have the absolute worst day of their lives and the ending......well, you'll never see it coming. If you liked the first one, you'll love the second.
What's great about it: Plenty of new horror puzzles
What's not so great: none

Unquestionably the Animal House for the 21st century (there are too many similarities to count!), Old School has come to DVD from Dreamworks, and they've done a fine job on this title. The 2.35:1 anamorphic image is outstanding in every way. Detail is strong, and colors come across perfectly. The transfer is as close to a direct translation from the theatrical print as you could get. As is common now, there is a chopped pan-and-scan version available separately and both rated and unrated versions for the widescreen version. Both 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS tracks are included, which may come as a surprise. Occasionally there are some directional effects, but for the most part, this soundtrack is centered in the forward speakers. Regardless, these are fine tracks, distortion free, with clear dialogue. This release is further punched up by the addition of a number of supplements. Up front is a commentary from director Todd Phillips and stars Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson. Just as with the film, this track is a party and a pleasure to listen to. Also included are eight deleted scenes, some of which could easily have been kept in this short 90-minute film. For anyone familiar with cable's Inside the Actor's Studio, a 21-minute "Inside the Actor's Studio Spoof" with the same group in the commentary will produce additional laughs. In addition to standard biographies and productions notes is a studio PR featurette, photo gallery made up primarily of direct shots from film, the theatrical trailer, and four television spots. It's hard not to laugh at the crude humor of Old School and this DVD simply adds to the experience.

Funny Stuff

This is a seriously funny movie. You already know Will and Vince are gonna be a trip, but what makes this movie extra funny is that the rest of the cast played humor off each other so well. If you haven't seen this one, you don't know what you're missing.
What's great about it: Lots of laughs
What's not so great: none really

Still a good movie

This is a really good movie. Jessica could have done a much better job of acting though and the movie tended to throw in one too many jokes, but still didn't take away from the thrill ride.
What's great about it: Lots of action and special effects
What's not so great: A bit too comical

CAN'T GET PS3 TO WORK ON MY HUGHESNET INTERNET FOR GAMING

Unfortunately, the news won't be good for your situation. Hughesnet is a satellite ISP, which means that the signal has to travel all the way from earth to space and then back again. Because of this, there is a VERY noticeable lag time and you can't get "real-time online gaming". Basically, any game you try to play online on PS3, Xbox, or PC won't play correctly due to that lag time. If you're able to swich to a local ISP through DSL or cable high speed Internet, then you'll be good to go. Otherwise, with Hughesnet you're going to ge stuck with playing games offline. Sorry for the bad news.

Will Upconvert dvd player play blueray disk?

I have a visio 32 lcd hd 1080p tv and a upconvert dvd player. Will blue ray disk play on the player?
Unfortunately not. Upconvert DVD players can only upconvert regular DVDs to try and get close to HD quality resolution, but not 100%. For blu-ray discs playback, you'll need to buy a stand alone blu-ray player or Playstation 3. There's many stand alone blu-ray players for under $200 that play great nowa days. I recently purchased the Sony BDP-S360 blu-ray player on a really good sale and it plays both DVDs and blu-ray disc with no problems for well under $200.

should i get gh5 or lego rock band for my first game

I would definitely go with Guitar Hero 5 instead of Lego Rock Band. Even though Lego Rock Band isn't out yet, that whole line of Lego games just gets old fast. GH5 however is already out and has proven itself to be a very good game with high ratings all around. Don't forget that the Guitra Hero series also has a pretty good track record for fun downloadable content, which I can't say the same for those Lego games.
