The Passport 9500ix provides total coverage with X, K, Superwide Ka, International Ku and Safety Warning System (SWS) radar capability, combined with front and rear laser detection. The Passport 9500ix also introduces intuitive AutoSensitivity which increases the range as your speed increases. The 9500ix includes Autolearn software and a blue display.

No more surprise red-light cameras

I replaced my previous Escort 8500, which doesn't have the features this one does, namely, firmware updates for redlight cameras and GPS. My wife already had this model, and I finally upgraded myself. It's nice to know I won't accidentally run into a red-light camera without some prior knowledge of it being there :)

Is it compatible with escort live?
Escort Live is a feature if you purchase the separate cable from Escort, but yes, it will work once you have it.

Use in Europe
Can this product be used in Europe, especially Germany?
I've brought my Escort 8500 to Germany several years ago to see if it picked up the photo-radar sites, and it seems to be a different frequency then what we have in the United States.
