I have a backup generator that comes on 45 seconds after a power interruption so this does two things that I need. It keeps my computer from shutting down during a power blink or short interruption and provides a fair lightning and surge protection to my electronic devices for not much money.

Great signal strength through most my concrete block house. I use an access point in addition at the far end of the house. Giving usage priority to your preferred devices seems like a good option but I am uncertain if I should give priority to my smart TV or to my Directv modem for streaming purposes?
