I've been a casual Mastodon fan for a while now. This album seems to be a bit more radio friendly/accessible to fans like me, while not removing any elements that hardcore fans loved. My favorite songs on the album are Show Yourself and Steambreather which I think perfectly highlight the balance between old and new Mastodon.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this movie turned out considering how apprehensive I was when I first heard about it. The characters are pretty enjoyable and the plot, while fairly basic, moved along quite well and is enough to carry the movie. Lots of color and music also make this a perfect pick if you have younger children. It is currently my daughter's favorite movie.
