Needed an upgrade and so happy to go through Best Buy than the cell phone carrier store. Phone has slight differences from the iphone 7 just faster and a way better camera. I would say though if you are not due for an upgrade and don't want to pay for the iphone x, it is basically the same phone as the 7

Is the front portion covered ?ans is this case really thick and heavy looks light and thin but pictures can lie to ththe naked eye
The front of the phone is not covered and I always recommend using a ZAGG class protector anyways. The case is about as thin as you can get without compromizing the protection. I have seen thinner cases but most will only protect the case from a short drop or just used to keep the phone from slipping from your hand.
