The model is very responsive, high quality build, and has a really sharp screen. The battery life is amazing. The keyboard takes a day to get used to as does the pressure sensitive touch pad. The speakers are also great inside and the ability to have multiple Thunderbolt 3 ports make charging from any side a plus.

I bought two of these. Both were extremely slow for something new with Windows 10 and lots of memory. I have used laptops years older than this with twice the perceived speed. Start menu was slow, and everythign was sluggish. I would not recommend this model unless you are in a pinch and just need anything that will work.

Great upgrade from previous generation

I liked the previous generations so much that I opted to get this new Vivofit3. The band is rough on the bottom and catches on my skin every now and then when swinging my arms during walks or runs. Otherwise, the features are great, and the battery life is amazing. I also paired it with the hear rate monitor chest strap and it worked well. Couldn't be happier. Well, unless I met my custom defined goals more often, but that's on me.

Lasts all day, is loud, responsive, and has a charging port for your phone on the back. Is water resistant so it works well on a boat. Has been banged around, got wet, and still works really well. Indoors it is really loud. Outside it's okay but the sound just travels so it's not as loud sounding. Still enough for a picnic, party, or BBQ.

Is there a fee to access all monitored tracking activity?
I know some bands (the old Body Media) required a monthly service subscription to gain access to your activity/sleep information, and I also believe others like Fitbit may have an optional charges to gain access to more information. Is there a charge to utilize this device to its fullest extent?
I am able to see sleep statistics inside the app without any additional fees. It shows a graph of sleep statistics and also of movement stats but it is not as detailed as a medical device. Still a good reference guide.

Can it sync to a Kindle Fire?
Since it is Android based, just download the Garmin Connect app and it should sync just fine. Sync is done through the app with Bluetooth on, not like regular Bluetooth devices. So make sure you download the app, have Bluetooth enabled on the device, then go to the Connect app and sync/pair the device.

How do you use stopwatch?
I was wondering if there a stopwatch on this sport watch.
There is a timer built in but it is tied to activities. When you start it, it records an activity in the history of that length of time. However, it is only accurate up to 1 second so it does not do anything beyond seconds and it takes a 3 second press to turn it on and off so the margin of error is +/- 6 seconds.
