I'm been an iPad user for years

iPad 2 was my first iPad and I was in love with the tech. Since then I've owned the Air and 2017 9.7 model. I always felt the 9.7" was perfect, but seeing the 12.9" size in stores had me wondering if it would be even better for me. Well I've been using it a month and I'm not so sure now.
Watching videos is fantastic. I can keep it on my desk and everything is nice and big. Multitasking is great. Having 2 browsers open, plus another app as a swipe over is great and something I couldn't do in a usable way on my 9.7. Drawing with the Apple Pencil is also way better on a larger surface than smaller. It's also not as heavy as I feared (only .5 lb more), and pretty easy to grip and walk around the house with.
So what don't I like. The on screen keyboard in landscape mode is too large. It's perfect if you are resting it on a flat surface, but I never type that way and makes it very difficult to type on the screen in my lap or on an angle. Using it in bed is bulky, hard to fit on my nightstand, and gives off a bright glow even with brightness on zero. I don't like how some websites stretch the whole screen and almost seem too large when I'm sitting on the couch. Finally, there are not many case choices compared to the smaller form factors which is disappointing.
But overall this thing is super fast. I edit can edit video, photos, and write music and it works flawlessly. All apple needs to do is add trackpad support and this would be an amazing laptop replacement.

Good for personal music

I bought this speaker for use in a car to listen to map guidance voice and podcasts. For the car the sound is not the best because it is very directional and unless it is right in front of you the sound really isn't much better than the built in speakers of my iPhone 7. In fact I ended up just going back to the iPhone speaker as I felt it was easier to hear, where the Insignia speaker was a bit tinny and muffled.
Testing the speaker with some music in the apartment and it sounded way better than I thought. Very loud and full, heavy guitars, synths and drums all great. For the price I'm very satisfied with the sound, though I wish the audio clarity for podcasts was a bit better.
Bluetooth was easy to use, and the AUX port is handy for other devices that do not have bluetooth. It's small and compact for travel as well.

Lots of room

Prices fluctuate like crazy on hard drives, but I bought this at a fantastic price. I'm using it as my main storage for my iMac (the OS is on SSD) running through USB 3.0. It's fast, but it is noisy and does take a few seconds to start up from sleep. Power Cord is nice and long, the wall adapter is slim so it fits on a power strip nicely and it comes with the USB cable in the box.
Mechanical drives are very outdated but until the price of SSD's drop dramatically we are stuck using these massive disks to storage large amount of data.

Been an Apple user for decades, owning just about anything they have produced and I admit this product has a rather steep learning curve which is very unusual for Apple. After finally getting it setup and spending hours on reading up on how things work or why things didn't work, I give it a good test and it does perform great.
Battery life is very weak. If you plan on playing with it a lot bring the charger with you because the battery won't last more than a few hours. Also for some reason Apple choose to create new icons and functions compared to their iOS platform, so it'll take some time getting used to the new environment and figuring out which app is which.
Overall the watch functions great and a nice addition to the iPhone. The main benefit really are the health tracking functions. With new WatchOS updates coming soon, the watch will really mature into something better.

Large drive

This drive is a little larger form factor for a 2.5" drive, so it will not fit inside a PS4. However it should work fine through the USB port as well as function as a backup drive on any home computer. I can't say how reliable the drive is because it works right now, but you never know how long these small drives last. Fortunately it comes with a 2 year warranty in case it doesn't make it that far.

It's been years since I tried Veranda and House Blend and I was pleasantly surprised how good those 2 flavors taste too. Nice upgrade from an iPad Air

I upgraded from an iPad Air 1 over to this 2017 iPad. Immediately I notice almost no difference in form factor, weight or screen quality and that's because they are practically identical tablets. This 2017 iPad removes the side mute switch, and the rear camera is about 1/8" off compared to the Air so Air cases will not fit perfectly (I modified my old one with an exacto knife.)
Speed wise it is fast, but I wouldn't say it's noticeably faster than the Air 1. Some apps load more quickly and some games that stuttered before now play more smoothly. The biggest difference I notice is using Safari and switching tabs which is much more smoother now. You can also enable Split screen view which wasn't allowed on the Air 1. Battery life is almost identical from the Air 1 which is very good. WiFi is also upgraded to support AC specs. Doubling the storage space for half the price of the Air 1 is fantastic as well.
So overall this iPad packs a lot of upgrades if you are coming from an old iPad Air 1 or previous. If you have a Pro or Air 2 I would probably hold off as you might see this as a downgrade since the screen is not as nice as those models. I'm very pleased with iPad and the great price it is being offered at.
