Rather disappointing

We've used Mr. Coffee products for years, with pretty good results. This most recent coffeemaker was disappointing. It was loud when brewing, steamed heavily out the top and when the lid was raised after brewing, the top was covered in heavy condensation, dripping and running everywhere. The carafe was hard to completely empty. We immediately replaced it with a Hamilton Beach of the same price point that is entirely better.

This is a big, powerful machine that's met every challenge I've thrown at it.
The monitor is excellent. The keyboard is full size and works very well. The backlighting is a little hard to get used to but it offers three brightness levels. Battery life isn't bad for so much power 4-6 hours. Boot up is lightning fast and file transfer is quick. The 500GB SSD is adequate for my needs.
I'm so glad to be back with ASUS again.
This is a pretty serious laptop capable of fairly high end gaming if desired. The fast i7 and GTX 960 are enough to run ARMA3 at decent settings. .
ASUS quality. I'm back to stay.

Anyone know why this exact same laptop (UX501VW-XS74T) that is sold on the asus website whas 16GB of RAM instead of the 8GB being offered by best buy? Everything else matches up except the RAM, is this a mistake on bestbuy part?

It's not a misprint, the unit sold by Best Buy is a price point configuration and that was where they decided to cut a little.
For about $40-50 more, they added the additional 8GB of ram.
Sure it's possible to get even more power in a dedicated gaming machine but, this sure isn't bad.
With the 16GB the machine is a bit of a beast.
