The 4X DVD RW media packs can reliably be rewritten up to 1,000 times and can store up to 4.7 GB of data, approximately 120 minutes of video. This release combines the previous separately released two parts of the animated adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns, and includes a documentary that focuses on Frank Miller's work creating the original influential graphic novel.
