Very Durable Product

After seeing a co-worker purchase one of these cases I was sold. It is very durable. I like the way the screen either separates or turns over to protect the keyboard. I have used it regularly for the last 2 months and have not had to charge the battery yet. If there was any complaint that I would have is that the unit is a little heavy but that is the price you pay for having a large battery and a long use between charges. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat.

Will my htc 1 smartphone be damaged by having it so close to the vents during high heat in winter or AC in summer?
I have had one in my car for almost 2 years and have had no problems.

This Logitech 920-006026 case for iPad Air doubles as a dual-view stand, allowing an upright angle that exposes the Bluetooth keyboard and enables comfortable typing and a flat-laying option that makes it easy to view media or browse the Web.
How long does it take to fully charge? Is there any indicator that lets you know when the battery is low, fully charged, etc?
I have the rugged folio case and it took about 3 hours to charge initially. The literature says normal charge time is 2-4 hours.
There are indicators for the remaining battery life. You can push the battery button and it will either flash green, yellow, or red depending on the remaining battery life. I have been using mine regularly for approximately 2 months and the battery indicator is green.
The literature says you can use the keyboard for up to two years on a charge. That is long time but based on my use I think it will last several months at least.

USB to accept a thumb drive
No. There is a micro USB port on the case to charge the battery. Any connection to the iPad would be through normal means, either USB or wi-fi.
