my wife needed a more business friendly pc for work, she upgraded from a year 2 surface I believe. four stars because it seems to be somewhat slow out of the package, installing updates helped slightly but its unfortunate considering it has nothing extra installed. still a good pc for light work

Good enough for storage purposes

I bought this mainly for use with large files; movies, videos, music, large reports. If that is the purpose you intend to use this for i wouldnt recommend this in the usb 2.0 version as it is very slow on uploading. I do really love the Vault feature though so I am happy with that. Next time ill buy one with usb 3.0 though

After about a month of research i found this was one, maybe the only, 2TB hard drive that could used to upgrade the PS4 hard drive without needing an enclosure or additional modifications. It is working great so far, so i have no complaints. A bonus is once you have removed the PS4 hard drive it is absolutely compatible with the seagate enclosure, so you can still have and use an external drive for whatever you want!

Connection issues. Not working yet. Where do I enter the IP address. All I've had is ROKU bouncing around a black tv screen. I plugged it into HDMI 4. Is that a problem
first, make sure the usb is plugged into a power source. I would try different batteries in the remote, try a different hdmi port. if that doesn't work try another tv. the remote has a light on it if its not turning on I imagine the remote is the issue, they have a warranty I believe just don't procrastinate I'm sure best buy will replace if its within the time frame also

according to specs it's USB 1.1? is this for real?
when i bought it the packaging said "usb 2.0 and 3.0 compatible"
I dont know how its compatible if its not fully 3.0; but it certainly feels as slow as 1.1
