I like that I don't need a cable to connect to my computers. I can print from my desktop or laptop. The individual color cartridges may reduce costs if they are sold by color and not as a set. I haven't had to buy replacements yet so not sure about this.

Works well with older printers

I recently got a new computer with Windows 10 but it doesn't have a parallel port to connect my old HP 1200 laser printer. This cable solves the problem.
