Anyone that says its hard and the physics changed probably were bad at the original Crash or didn't play Crash. The IGN reviewer schmuck that said he played original Crash admitted he played 1/2 of the first one. If you loved Crash you'll love this.

Don't listen to anybody else when they say this movie is bad. They are negative and you don't need that negativity in your life. Blackbeard is epic, the music is great, and the revenge storyline makes this movie better than the original trilogy combined (Pirates trilogy and the Star Wars trilogy)
