I had no idea what this movie was about. I was pleasantly surprised! This is a great movie for the family. There are many very intense moments and some graphic valiant scenes. Parents should watch with their kids that are under 13.

Not a good movie.

This is the third installment of The Hobbit; The Battle of the Five Armies. The movie starts with the death of Smaug and its plot then lingers awhile for its climactic battle scene. I’ve watched this thing twice and still can’t name the five armies. It’s just not that good and very confusing movie. If you absolutely need to complete your trilogy with ownership of this movie then by all means purchase it as I did. The kids will like it anyway for the CGI.
