The multiplayer is excellent in Halo 5, with a lot of optional microtransactions. I emphasize optional because they are random and you can unlock everything slowly over time just through playing. Future maps will be free unlike everything with a season pass.
The single player campaign is short, but adequate, with mild incentives to replay to collect all of the secrets. Probably not the game of the year, maybe not even the best Halo ever, but a good title with a business model preferrable to having to shell out more money to get all map content in a season pass format.
