These perform exactly as expected. However, I recommend foam pipe insulation covers if there isn't much room behind your machine. These rigid lines tend to bump against the wall when the machine is running.

These lines are great for rupture protection; but if there isn't much room behind your washer, you'll likely hear them bouncing off the wall while the washer is running. I recommend going to the hardware store and get foam pipe insulation covers to go over the lines and deaden the bumping sound.
