A "Fresh" Release
on July 12, 2010

This album is upbeat, fun, and refreshing, perfectly blending Devo's signature sound with a new approach. I love this album, it's nearly flawless from start to finish. One thing to note is that the tracklisting shown on the Best Buy website is inaccurate. The last 4 tracks shown are not on the album. There are only 12 tracks on the CD release, unless you go to iTunes and download the Deluxe version with all 16 tracks recorded for the album. The only thing that could have made this album perfect would have been the inclusion of Watch Us Work It.
What's great about it: great pace, mix of pop and rock
What's not so great: key tracks ignored from Song Study, but available on iTunes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Chickenfoot is the modern-day Led Zeppelin

Disregard the previous submission by "Jeffiscool".
The REAL Chickenfoot lineup:
Sammy Hagar, vocals
Michael Anthony, bass and vocals
Joe Satriani, guitars
Chad Smith, drums
This project started as nothing more than a jam session and luckily the members were inspired enough to make a recording. These four guys play better together than most established bands do and the music speaks for itself. Songs like Down The Drain and Oh Yeah! remind us why we love rock music and you clearly hear each of the guys giving it their all on every track. This is a perfect example of a result that is greater than the sum of its parts.
What's great about it: Perfect Chemistry = Pure Rock!!

An affordable version of this must-have package

This re-issue package is a great gift from Pearl Jam to their fans. The band considered what the fans would want when putting this together, which is the main reason for the inclusion of the Unplugged DVD. It's unfortunate that the band didn't include the replicated demo cassette and extensive artwork in all versions. Those are key elements of the history of this amazing band, my favorite band.
In these economic times, it's hard to shell out more than 100 dollars to enjoy all of the benefits of this package, and since many do not have record players anymore some of the expense of this package is wasted on the vinyl items.
I realize it's hard to please everyone, but a better separation would have been the Legacy Edition as it is, this Deluxe edition with the inclusion of the artwork and demo cassette, and then an LP edition with the vinyl.
What's great about it: Pearl Jam's MTV Unplugged performance on DVD
What's not so great: The exclusion of the "demo" cassette and more artwork
I would recommend this to a friend!
