While not as heartwarming as the first film, it was just as hilarious, if not more so. The food-animal hybrids and the pun-y names were cute. The gang was all there and still funny with Flint's dad, Manny, and the cop getting more speaking parts and adding to the hilarity of the movie. "Get back in there, tear!"

This movie is adorable, as well as hilarious. Jesse Eisenberg is great as Blu, giving him an instantly recognizable personality. Jemaine Clement is absolutely the highlight of the film as Nigel, the evil cockatoo. We have watched it several times.
