I tried "the Leaf" which was OK but difficult to mount any place without it being obvious. After researching and reading numerous review, I decided to try the cheap RCA amplified antenna. It works great and I can neatly place it on the TV stand. Granted, I live only 15 miles from the transmitting tower and I live in (flat) SW Florida. But this is the unit that works best for me.

Can I use FIOS and the antenna?
I have Fios, but want MeTV, etc. Can I hook up the antenna to the TV with the Fios box (cable splitter) and just have one on at a time?

Reception in a forest?
I live in the forest. Would I get any reception at all?
It depends on how close you live to the transmitting tower. The trees could be an issue in blocking the signal.
