I have the pedestal under my dryer. It's really nice to not have to bend over to get the clothes out. It actually does double duty for me. I get the large bottles of detergent and fabric softener from Costco and they fit in upside down, with the spigot pointing up so it doesn't leak. I also open it and put my laundry basket on top of it so I can more easily get the clothes out and right into the basket. I will never go back to not having a pedestal.

I bought this because my old dryer was starting to hum and squeak when it dried clothes, and I needed a new washer is well. Since I was getting the washer, I figured I get a matching set. The dryer is fantastic! It's so big you could put almost anything in it. The sensor works well, getting everything dry in less time than I imagined. I cannot get the app to work, though. And, a silly thing really, I wish the little song that it plays at the end was different from that of the washer because if you're not in the same room you really can't tell which one is done.
