I really enjoyed this show and cannot wait for Season 2 to begin. I started watching this show with great hesitation. However, after the first episode I was hooked. Great cast and the special effects are top notch.

I picked this up about two weeks ago and I have really enjoyed watching this show again. The quality of the video is pretty good considering the age of this show. I have found no issues with viewing or sound in the episodes so far.

Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl (Psl Sverre Hagen) crossed the Pacific ocean in a balsa wood raft in 1947, together with five men, to prove that South Americans already back in pre-Columbian times could have crossed the sea and settle on Polynesian islands. After gathering financing for the trip with loans and donations, they set off on an epic 101 day-long journey across 8,000 kilometers, all while the world was watching. KON-TIKI tells about the origin of Heyerdahl's idea and the events surrounding the group's voyage.

I really enjoyed this movie of the kon-tiki voyage. The visuals of the time at sea were amazing. I have only watched the original version of the movie that is in Norwegian with sub-titles so far.

I thought that this was a great movie from beginning to end. The story is very gripping in both the telling of a story that everyone knows, however, might not know all the details about. And the last 1/2 hour of the film during the compound raid scene was just incredible.
