delivery service is ok but not great

The delivery people had trouble installing the base onto the tv. I had to help them as they could not figure it out. After that I had them put the tv on my tv table but not do anything else. So I connected the tv myself and tested it before they left. Also, they dropped the box about 2 feet as they took it off the truck. Fortunately, not damage.

This tv replaces a 7 year old 52 inch XBR. This tv is very much improved. The picture is excellent and very bright and sharp. But the integrated access to internet and apps makes it a whole different experience. Very happy with this tv.

First I have a Sony XBR65X900E 4K TV, and I have the first HDMI cable from my APPLE TV 4K running to the HDMI 3 (ARC) Connection of the tv and the other cable running from cable box to HDMI 2. What does (ARC) stand for & will this connection hurt my tv.
