I have always been a Mac fan. I bought a Mac Book Pro in 2006 as a freshman in college, and it lasted me 6 long, tough years. I was hoping for the same from this iMac. It's as wonderful as any Mac you could ask for, except its processing power. It will frequently lag if I'm doing anything more than iTunes and Word or Chrome.

This Hub works very well. It's great for my iMac because all the USB ports are on the back of the computer. I got this for easier USB access and I have not been disappointed.

I bought this because my wife will tear up the standard Apple cord in about three months. So far the cord is showing no signs of wear which is a very welcome sign.
With built-in Alexa Voice Service, ecobee4 can listen to your voice commands and respond. Have it set a timer, read you the news, adjust the temperature, and more. It also comes with a room sensor that helps manage hot and cold spots in your home, delivering comfort in the rooms that matter. And because they can detect occupancy, they can automatically enable the right mode on your ecobee4 for energy savings when it senses no one is home.
How easy is this to install?
It took me about 30 minutes to install the device and another 20-30 to set it up on my phone. I'm not the most handy of people either. If you download the app before you install it gives you step by step instructions and videos right on your phone.

Can you disable the alexa voice control? Because I already have echo dot and I don't want them both to answer me or set timers ect.
You sure can. I am fully integrated into the Apple ecosystem, so I simply just never enabled it during the initial setup.
