Look, who cares about what they call themselves. Three years of knowing that a fix for any problem with my new washing machine is only a phone call away is worth every cent I paid for it.
What price peace of mind? I doubt I will ever need to call them but I know that if I do, they'll be there to fix whatever is broken, and at seventy, that's worth a lot.

Old appliances are generally good for only one or two things: either being rehabilitated and sold as "used" or as a source of steel, copper, and aluminum for recycling.
Best Buy not only installs appliances, they remove the old ones so you don't have to wonder "What am I gonna do with this piece of junk". They take care of it for you. This service is worth its weight in gold......

Strange but necessary

Why replace the old hoses when you get a new washing machine? Simple. Hoses are made up of multiple layers and if the inner layer starts degrading it can clog up the washing machine and cause a failure. These new hoses are steel wrapped and long enough to allow access behind the machine without disconnecting them. They are very well made. Even so, every two years I will replace the hoses as a matter of self-interest. A pair of hoses is a lot cheaper than a service call.

When my old washer died and I needed a new one, I looked around and found this Amana High Efficiency washing machine. It was on sale and so I bought it, along with Geek Squad insurance, delivery and installation, and new hoses (a sensible requirement). After using it for a few months, I'm impressed at how effective it is at getting clothes clean and not wasting water...you see, the washing machine determines how much water the load needs; there are no "level" settings on the device, just the cycle selector and start button.
Is it effective? It has removed stains I thought were permanent! It uses less water and gets my clothing cleaner than my old washer did.
Am I happy with this washing machine? Heck yes!

What is the capacity gallons of water? I love off grid and need to add water manually.
This particular machine has a sensor and determines for itself how much water it needs. I would suggest a different washing machine if you have to add water manually or possibly invest in a tank you could fill and connect to the washing machine and let gravity handle the fill situation.
