if youre nostalgic about the first one, this was much better than expected. I wish will smith was in it as all fans hoped, but it was nice watching everyone else back together. 4k looks awesome as always, the bluray looks great too

I own other panamax products including their 5400 and have always been happy with them. They've shut down when needed during under/over voltage. The 360 strip takes their avpro line and puts it in a modern, consumer friendly package. This strip is versatile and has 4 usb ports and two micro usb cables. With a generous 1620 joule rating for 79.99 this is a great value and an attractive update to panamax's products which can look outdated at times. But thats probably because their products work well and customers dont need to buy one of these very often

Ive only owned this movie on vhs and Ive seen it once on hd tv. so when i saw both the bluray and uhd, i was blown away. It was like watching it for the first time again. I noticed much more details inside the alien ship this time around which can by dark and murky on previous formats

As good as they say it is

Every year there will be a review saying "best tv ever reviewed". But I have a feeling this one will hold up for quite some time. Dont get me wrong, im sure next year's generation will top this year's somehow. But given the price point of these tv's I would say buying one now at its sale price is a smarter choice unless money is not an issue, then you might want to consider to wait for next year's model.
Some criticisms of this tv is motion blur and burn in. But I havent experienced any issues so far (two weeks use). But i dont use this as a pc monitor, nor would i recommend it. You can get burn in if you try to force it, but theres a feature that cycles the screen for an hour when turned off. It's a nice feature in case it ever does happen. As for motion blur, I havent been able to notice it so far but im sure the next generation will try to improve in this area, lg recently showed its hfr technology which is rumored to be on next years oled. So if you have the money, that may be an incentive to wait. But for those interested in the e6, ive watched several blurays and im perfectly happy with the refresh rate, i have not noticed any blur even with fast paced action movies. There is a customizable setting for judder and motion blur which is nice if you dont want to use their presets. I have not tested this for gaming but from what i have read, current oled tvs such as e6 may not be the best option because of input lag.
The current oled lineup is considered to be one of the best, if not the best ever reviewed by many online reviewers for 2016. And although next year's model may take that spot and the year after that, I can comfortably recommend the e6 for it's performance, design and features. It even has dolby vision which may possibly be the future standard. As of now its the best viewing format available even compared to hdr. I strongly feel the current generation of oled (2016) will hold up over time much more than previous generations because of its loaded features and capabilities such as hdr, dv and built in/downloadable apps.

Premier+ might be better option

I can easily reccomend the ultra player but the premier plus may be the better option at 79.99. I am upgrading from a roku 3 and the ultra adds a voice search feature which i never use. Sometimes i accidentally press the search button on the remote bc its where the play/pause button usually is (which is now moved to the row below). Activating the voice feature in the middle of watching will take you to the main menu by default rather than pause your program which can be frustrating.
The premier+ has all the performance features of the ultra except for the voice command and some other extra inputs such as sd slot, usb and optical. The ultra also has a button on the box in case you lose your remote, your remote will alarm. The ultra is great for home theater use but if you only need an hdmi out then save your 50 bucks and get the premier+
other than that, the ultra player is a great step up for me and is faster than my roku 3, which was no slouch. the only other complaint i have is that the current generation of roku do not support dolby vision, but that may not be an issue for some since dolby vision isn't available on most tv's. But it would've still been nice for those who have dv capability and since the new chromecast ultra has it at much less cost than the ultra.

This movie looks beautiful in any format but its a must have in 4k. Although its gritty and gory at times the shots are amazing. Most vendors i see showing 4k use this disc as a reference. There's a lot of dark scenes as well so this will really showcase the black level details on your tv
