Is it really necessary?

I guess I don't mind this because it keeps my screen from being scratched. However, it cracked on the first day after no trauma to my phone. I've never cracked a screen on any phone ever, and this cracked the first day. Luckily, they'll replace them for free, you just pay to ship it to yourself. But, while they claim it'll crack instead of your screen, I find it very hard to believe that it actually kept my screen from cracking. I believe it's just a little too delicate and cracks easily. So, I question it's worth for the money. The only upside is that they'll replace it for you through the company.

When this was on my phone, you couldn't hear ANYTHING on the other end of the phone. After taking it back and getting a new one, it had the same problem. Life proof told me that sometimes they're not compatible with a person's VOICE?! That's so strange and immediately I got another Box to put on my phone. Weird!
