I bought this for a reason different from most customers. I use it to add humidity to my iguana's enclosure. I simply added a hose to the elephant's trunk and ran it into the enclosure. I run it on a timer and it is controlled through a temperature and humidity sensor and controller. I had an older humidifier that eventually died from running 12 hours a day every day. The older one required me to refill it at least once daily. This humidifier runs 12 hours a day for many days at a time before needing refilled!

Make sure you always have batteries on hand to power your keyboard, mouse or other device with this battery charger and 6 rechargeable AA NiMH batteries. The wall outlet charger design lets you charge 2 batteries simultaneously for convenient use.

I have two of these chargers now. The charger is nice and compact with an indicator LED to let you know the charge state of the batteries. It stops charging automatically when the batteries are full and will periodically turn on after that to keep them at max charge. The only problem with it is that once in a while after you insert batteries into it for charging, the indicator will blink orange indicating that there is a problem. You need to remove the batteries and re-insert them and then it will usually work fine, sometimes though you may have to try a few times before it functions correctly. It isn't a major issue but I expect a lot better quality control from Apple.

I needed to purchase some SD cards for a couple Garmin GPS devices for motorcycles. I decided to use my 4 gig SD cards I had for a camera to put in the GPS devices. I then bought a couple of these 8 gig SD cards to put back in the camera. They worked great right out of the package, and now I am able to take twice as many pictures as before.
