MY FAVORITE CT ALBUM

FINALLY, a remastered copy of one of the greatest albums I've ever owned, with bonus tracks! It's a classic which showcases all of Cheap Trick's strengths. This & "...Budokan" showed them in their prime. Every track is fantastic!

An absolutely classic album remastered which is always a good thing. Don't expect much in the way of packaging extra, but if you know the album, you know you have to have an updated copy.

CATCHY FOR DOOMY MUSIC

I found out about Katatonia through a review in a magazine I subscribe to & after reading a review of their latest ("Dead End Kings"), I bought it & liked it even though the lyrics were a bit depressing & hard to decipher in meaning. The same goes here; a lot of this sounds the same after awhile, but funny enough, I like the sound so much that I've since bought a third disc of theirs, which also sounds quite a bit the same after awhile (the music & the voice), but I like it.

TYPICAL, BUT GROWS ON YOU

If you're an AIC fan, you'll love this; simple as that. The songs are good, but only "Voices" really stood out to me on a first listen. It has definitely grown on me since then, but I prefer their last masterpiece "Black Gives Way To Blue" to this one.

I've only become a fan over the last two studio albums & had never seen Anathema perform. This is a brilliant live affair which would have benefited greatly from a DTS 5.1 mix; everything else about it is sublime. Great performance & what's also unique about this live DVD is that it shows the crowd really getting into the music with the musicians, each reaching their own emotional crescendos. The band seem to be applauding the audience as much as vice versa. A really fantastic set!

CLASSIC METAL & A GREAT LIVE CD (DIFFERENT SHOW THAN THE DVD)/DVD COMBO. THE DVD HAS OVER 2 HOURS OF FOOTAGE FROM THEIR VARIOUS APPEARANCES AT THE WACKEN METAL FESTIVAL IN GERMANY. THESE SOUND AMAZING!! BUY IT!!!
