A relief for a small kitchen

At first I was skeptical about a countertop dishwasher, but I'm happy with this machine. It is thrifty with water (less than 4 gallons per load, about a sinkful of water) and energy efficient, too. You do need to take care with how you load it, to make sure there is room for the soap door to pop open during the cycle, but there are diagrams in the manual with suggestions. Be sure to measure your dinner plates to make sure the machine is tall enough for what you've got.

These printer cartridges basically do what they're supposed to. I do wish that Best Buy would offer discounted refills if you bring back the empties, although at least being given the option to recycle them in the store is better than throwing them into a landfill!

A good machine with unpredictable drying times

Overall, a good machine. We mostly use the drying sensor so that we don't have to guess how long to set the dryer to run. However, this usually results in unpredictable drying times, and since the sensor seems to be located in one area, as the load turns the sensor appears to recalibrate the time. So the panel can say 6 minutes, then you turn around and it says 30. For very dense objects like pillows, the machine might think that the item is dry when it is only dry on the surface, so do your own hand-check before taking it out.

Do more laundry in less time. This spacious Samsung washer takes fewer loads to get all your laundry done. Plus, you can use it anytime, because everyone will sleep right through the reduced noise and vibration levels.

So far so good, but beware smell

Overall, I'm happy with the machine. It has lots of cycles (though mostly we use normal and delicate) and uses less water than a top-loader. However, the machine does develop a bit of an odor, which has long been the reputation of front-loading machines. We leave the door ajar to facilitate water evaporation. We haven't tried the self-cleaning cycle yet, so hopefully that will do the trick.
