I have the iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 and like how they can be practically paired together. It's convenient to have something in a larger view format instead of having to zoom into my palm sized screen. I don't like how my pandora app stops playing music when the screen locks or exiting the app. Maybe I'll need to change settings to avoid this but have not seen any way to do so at first glance.

I have an older bose sound system with only an rca input. My tv only has hdmi in and out and an optical. Will this work? What options do I have?
Ran into a similar situation. I think I tried it and was unable to get it to work considering it just connects to the tv. So most likely you have a cable box and it's connected via HDMI. So that already connects it to your tv audio wise and video wise. I settled to connecting it to my PS4 (while it is connected HDMI as well) and was able to change the settings to have audio connected externally. You'll also need an digital optical audio cable to complete the conversion. Hope this helps!

You have to look on the box for the model number. Apple did not change the box apparently but for confirmation you truly received an iPad Air 2 it should have a model number of A1566 or A1567 depending if you just got the wifi or wifi plus cellular model.
