I have a 50 inch plasma samsung in the bedroom and let's face on board audio on these tvs is the pits but that's not what most of us buy the for.... I had the same problems with mine great picture but tge lousy sound just made me want to go back to the mancave and watch it downstairs which wife made not an option. So the compromise was a little samsung theatre bAR with subwoofer. The bar worked out great it had bluetooth so we can p l ay pandora etc through the speaker now. Love it gives you just the right amount of highs and lows to keep that excitement going a must have for those tvs with limited sound options
