I switched to the CyberPower brand several years ago after numerous failures of the more well known brand name UPS. My original CyberPower unit is still running along with four other units of varying sizes and capacities. The only thing I have ever had to do is change batteries on occasion. I bought this for testing purposes. I had several laptops come into my shop that would not connect to some local "hot-spots". I determined that those laptops had an outdated driver for their internal wireless net adapter. They worked fine on my older "N" type gateways but not on the newer ones. This gateway router demonstrated the problem and allowed me to apply the fix and test for proper operation.
What's great about it: Worked as advertised.
What's not so great: Nada!

I just bought this today and I was wondering if the AMD Radeon R7 240 4GB XFX would fit my OptiPlex 390 SFF without any trouble like the NVIDIA GT 710 1GB???
It should fit your computer (physical size) without an issue. However, if your PCI express buss is 2.0 you probably won't realize the full capability of a board that is designed for PCI Express 3.0. It will certainly work but perhaps won't meet your expectations based on the board's specifications.

Is there a processor still available that will fit a P5LP-LE mother board?
I have 4 Gigs Ram for it. And a better hard drive now I just want to replace the processor before putting an operating system on. I know its old but this is the first one I played around with inside.

is there an HD cable box for purchase rather than renting it from the cable company?
Tired of renting HD cable box. Can I purchase one? My cable is free with the association; trying to avoid monthly rental of the box. I have two HD tv's.
The short answer is "Yes"! However, you must purchase or lease a "Cable Card" for your box that can be authorized for the channels you wish to receive. The "Cable Card" is provided the decryption algorythm required to decrypt the encoded HD signals you want to watch by the cable companies. Their "Controller System" will provide that algorythm when you call your cable company, subscribe to their HD service, and provide the "mac address of your "cable card". Without that authorization / decryption code, you probably won't even be able to tune a digital HD signal. Now, this could all change with Federal regulation but for the time being, this is what you have available.
