ERR message, repeated

I have enjoyed my fitbit so far, and decided to invest in Aria today. The set up was fairly easy, and I was excited to stop on it, until I got the ERR message.
The device connects to my wifi with no issue, but I can't get passed the ERR. I spent a few hours trying all its website recommended (no phone number listed for support). It appears that this is a very common problem, which I should have researched more prior to my purchase. I just assumed the device setup would be seamless as my fitbit was, but that's not the case.
Big disappointment.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very light, simple, easy to use. Looks somewhat cheap, but does the job just fine.

Error keeps showing up and then I have to turn it off
Error keeps coming on and that's it. Doesn't work. Have four plumbers and they don't know. I called LG and they are worse what is going on I paid a lot of money for this Dishwasher. Help

I think the issue is probably the same. AE error. We had a local repair shop come over, who estimated the fix cost being higher than the purchase price of the product. Pacific Sales warranty is a nightmare to deal with (we are in the 4th week of negotiation). Not sure what to tell you except I am sorry. Should stay away from LG dishwashers and the extended warranty is not recommended.

will this register steps if I'm on a computer and typing all day?
No, typing would not register step counts. Playing drums would.
