At first i wasnt sure about this product as it didnt seem to have the same attachments as the other, but I was so surprised when i picked up the item as it also came with the plastic cover. Its not too loud at all, great for the price!

Does this toaster stay at the last darkness setting, or do you have to set the darkness setting each time you toast something?

It's factory set at four. I'm not sure if you can change it but hitting The button is relatively easy. It's not a smart toaster so it may not have the capacity to remember the previous setting.
