Yes, all that is required is to be able to have it connected to your current music system radio/cd. I had mine professionally installed at Best Buy. I enjoy it everyday. I highly recommend this item, it is satisfying to chose your own type of music only......

Do I have to have a garbage disposal for the countertop dishwasher? Is it a must?
Yes, I do have a garbage disposal and I would believe that would be beneficial, but I do know the washer has some sort of a disposer system within the washer. However, I make certain, when I load my dishes they are free of food and leave the washer to clean to perfection and sanitize with the washing process of the cycles to the completed cycle.

What is the shortest door height available?
I'm limited on kitchen space and the only available spot has just 24" from the edge of the counter. I've got about 48" total from wall to the end of an open dishwasher door. Do you carry one that would fit in the space I have?
I am uncertain, but, if you go to the web site for Best Buy or call your nearest store location, they are very helpful. They were excellent to answer all of my numerous questions. I enjoyed working with them. I am very happy with my decision to purchase LG.

How long is the Lg warrenty
I have loved the LG brand but it's pricey. How long s the manufacturers warrenty. AND is it made in USA?
I would need to check my warranty, but I would believe the warranty meets or exceeds competition. My LG is an excellent product and I will add that I have additional LG appliances: French door refrigerator, microwave, washer, dryer, both with pedestals and 2 LG Smart TV's. When I retired, I did much research and choose LG products, I am quite happy with my choice. I wish you luck with your search and decision. I have one last appliance to purchase for my kitchen, but I am undecided, only, because I am leaning from electric cookstove/oven to gas. I am researching my decision prior to purchase.

How well will the dishwasher clean using well water?
We're in the market for a new dishwasher. We are on well water that has a noticable iron and calcium content. Our water pressure is less than public water supply pressure. Our current dishwasher leaves a white film on dishes, glasses, and silverware. We've tried many detergents in liquid and pouch form with Jet Dry without success. How well will this dishwasher clean given these constraints?
I am not sure, but I would advise using a recommended dish washer soap and liquid rinse that is recommended for your appliance. I also use "Finish Jet Dry" that come in a small basket that is attached to the middle or upper rack (make sure it does not interfere with the fan blade rotation). That would give you double spot protection. I am happy with my LG product.

Does the LD7561st heat the water? Our water heater only heats the water to 130* and takes 2 min to get to the faucet so, the dishwaher needs to heat the water for washing.
Yes, that information should be in your manual. I do not have any problems with dishes being unacceptable for me. I am very happy with my purchase. Take a look at your manual, you should have sufficient hot water for cleaning your dishes to perfection.

how do I get the tines to stay in place on the bottom with my dinner plates? They keep falling down. Also there seems to be left over soap in the dis
I place my heavier dinner plates in the back of the lower rack. I place salad plates, saucers, bowls in the front part of the lower rack. I don't experience the problem you mentioned. I don't experience soap residue, I use the normal recommended liquid rinse, but I also use "Jet Dry Finish" it comes in a small basket that hangs from the upper rack out of any interference with the blade fan rotation. Sold 2 baskets per packaging box, inexpensive also. I am very happy with the performance of my very quite dishwasher and I am glad I made the decision. Good luck with your decision, too.

Terrible water spots with new machine. Did not with old one.
No. water spots, but I do use a spot free additional item that I purchase at Walmart. It is inexpensive and comes in a small basket that attaches to the top dish/cup basket away from fan blade to give spot free dishes and silverware. Can be found in the dish wash section of grocery section, ask for help, if you are unable to locate product.

Does the LG LDF8072ST come in black?
If the LG LDF8072ST comes in black, what is price and is it available for immediate delivery? Also I saw on internet "free installation." Is this an option for item purchased in store?
I honestly don't know about, whether it comes in color of black, but I do believe it comes in white as well as stainless steel. I am very happy with my choice of stainless steel. Yes, free install is available, but you should first make certain that is an option at the time of purchase. Mine was part of my purchase price, because my purchase was over a minimum purchase price at time of purchase.

Are 34" total depth for the washer/dryer enough?
I see in other postings that you ask for an additional 5" meaning I'm 3/4" short. Will that be a problem to install the washer/dryer? I plan to have them stacked.
From rear wall to outside rim of washer/dryer is 35", that includes rear hook ups and dryer vent. Good luck......
