Direct ethernet installation
Does the boost need to stay plugged into the router or once it's been initially set up can it be moved to improve wireless connection? I have 2 Play:5's at home and 1 Play:3 that is at my store, both home and store are on a 3 acre property. I'm having issues with my Sonos controller being able to read all three players at one time. It is constantly kicking one or more of my players off my controller. I am assuming this is a Wi-Fi issue. Will the boost help with this?
Yes the boost is a miracle worker but it does need to stay plugged into your router. Once it's installed, get a range extender and have your sonos communicate through the range extender. The boost is mainly so that any other speakers added after the soundbar is added, communicate with each other. Just call sonos, they are the best with customer service.
