ALL actors "become" their characters while wending through the circuitous and engrossing plot. Screenplay is excellent; intonation of each person throughout masterful.
Only detraction are the multiple chronological errors which, though causing some consternation, can be dismissed.

Though science-fiction, most liberties are taken with the laws of physics; yet since not intended to withstand scrutiny thus enjoyable. All cast are well-placed, the storyline complete and allows the viewer to ignore factual errors/impossibilities while following the twists throughout.

Though a box office darling, Gravity is proffered as drama but I began smiling immediately, quickly evolving into laughter, then fast-forwarding through to a [hopefully] more interesting scene. Eventually finding "the credits" rolling by [and gratefully so].
Sad commentary on what passes for a "good movie". I can enjoy science-fiction when offered tongue-in-cheek but when expected to be truthful to the laws of physics, this is NOT a selection.
