This is a very well built holder , I like that holds very tight to the car vent, but with the iPhone X case I'm using (Speck - Presidio Grip Case for Apple® iPhone® X) it seems to loose a little of the magnet hold. My suggestion: try another case, without the grip.

I personally think this fan could be better if it had at least 40% more power, it is quiet but it lacks of power cannot make a difference in a very hot day. For this price it's better deal to get a regular fan.
