Best buy delivery & install requires new hoses at install. The guy selling me the washer said this is the "regular" set people usually purchase. They were priced ($10) higher than the average Home Depot ones they sell you with new machines there. The installers brought them with them and I didn't notice them having any issues hooking them up. I have had them on the new washer for about two months with no issue. Guess they are serving their purpose. So all is well. I don't know if my washer came with hoses, like some do, but if they were rubber hoses I wouldn't have opted to use them anyways.

I bought this on sale. This was the most affordable washer when comparing the (drum) load size and the different setting options to other washers I was looking at. Although it wasn't as energy & water saving as the others (such as the Samsung). I am short so I have to stretch a little to reach the bottom to get the small things like socks. But it's not as deep as most others I saw at the store. I like the "deep water" selection, so I can have more water added than the machine determines that the load needs. It sounds pretty quite for a washing machine in my opinion. Some reviewers complained of it being a bit loud. I haven't heard it over say the tv or my kids playing, or regular household noise. But my washer is a few rooms away from our family room so it wouldn't have mattered it if wasn't the most quite washer on the market. After reading the other online reviews I usually select the middle spin speed and the clothes come out ready for the dryer. (Others were saying the high speed made their washer "walk" off from the wall-and I don't need that). My mom has done a few loads of laundry herself to see what she though and she was pleased with the washer as well. But we would both prefer a taller agitator. Guess they don't make a lot of those style washers anymore.
If it wasn't on sale or the Samsung was priced the same I would have considered that one. But for the sale price I paid I am pleased. I have had the washer for about two months and average 2 loads a day and have had NO issues at all.

Lighting hit my Comcast equipment. And after several trips to Comcast (all with hours of waiting in line) to get working equipment and being told my equipment was outdate. I was informed I would need to get a new single unit (gateway). This would result in faster Internet but also a $10. a month increase in my bill. My other choice was keep my current Internet speed but buy this. I found it online for a little bit lower than the Best Buy online price. I went in to Best Buy and found plenty of stock on the shelf (although the price reflected was higher than the online price by $50). The sales associate excepted my lowest price match without any hassles what so ever. I went home and hooked it right up. It was so easy I knew I had to have done something wrong. But nope-it really was just that easy. The longest part was having to call Comcast to have the unit tied into the Comcast Internet provider network. This unit increased my Internet speed tremendously while still keeping the cheapest Internet option from Comcast. And compared to the $8 a month Comcast would charge me for rental of their gateway plus the $10 increase in Internet speed I saved $18 a month. This will have paid for itself in a little over 6 months. We are very pleased with this unit and the "free" increase in Internet speed. I recommend it to anyone. We have had it for about 2months now with no problems with connection to the Internet or other issues.
