Yes it will fit your laptop, as far as waterproof, the outer shell is.

I have an Onkyo receiver TX-SR605 that gets very hot. Would the dual fan chill mat cool it down. Is the fan noisy?
The fan is for laptops, an as far as noise, you have to put your ear down close to even hear it, thats how quiet it is when it's on

Will this work if my laptop is on my lap, versus a table or desk? I am not at a table or desk many times, so my laptop literally is on my lap most of the time and I want to make sure that is ok.
i wouldn't recommend setting it on your lap

Does this have to be plugged into or wired into the car electrical system? Or is this self-contained & run on battery it comes with. If so how long does the battery last before replacing.
once it's fully charged you no longer have to have it plugged in, i'm not quit sure how long the battery lasts, i haven't really taken it on a long road trip

I HAVE 2014 CHEV. PICKUP I HAVE A PLUGIN IN THE SEAT COULD I PUT A CAMERA ON THE BACK ALSO
you can mount this camera in the back, side an front.
